Star Wrld Organization is led by Mia Hopkins, a professional international basketball player, former Harlem Globetrotter, certified performance coach, and youth empowerment leader. Mia’s journey—from limited early opportunity to global professional competition—forms the heart of Star Wrld Organization’s mission. Her career spans professional leagues across Europe and South America, global youth camps, international partnerships, and collaborations with major organizations including Nike Camps and the Jr. NBA.
Since 2019, Mia has personally led camps, clinics, and mentorship programs serving approximately 1,200 youth prior to the formal launch of the nonprofit. Her lived experience, global exposure, and relentless belief in possibility serve as powerful inspiration for young people navigating life.
Star Wrld Organization’s international programming is strengthened by Coach Luca Ramirez de Carvalho, one of the most respected 3×3 basketball coaches in the world. Coach Luca is the only coach globally to earn medals at two FIBA 3×3 World Cups and has led national teams in Brazil, Iran, and the Dominican Republic to historic international success. His involvement elevates Star Wrld into the highest tier of global youth development organizations.
